Weekly theme: Night
Here in Kansas City, we've enjoyed the more traditional Nelson-Atkins Gallery of Fine Art for years--going back to the 30's. In the last year or two, the Nelson added this, the Bloch Gallery of Contemporary Art, and we've been in love ever since. No one picture can even do the building justice but each one, each picture, tells a terrific and, I think, beautiful story.
You really should come and check it out, if you can, y'all.
Have a great--if snowy--weekend.

Have you been here yet?
Sadly, I'd be willing to bet that 90% of Kansas City metropolitan area residents (everyone from Platte City to Harrisonville and from Blue Springs to Gardner and Paola) haven't seen this magnificent addition to the city. You owe it to yourself to check this out. Go, people. Make an appointment with yourself to see this beautiful building at dusk and after sunset. It's a real stunner. And we have the only one like it.
