April dogwood

I'm a sucker for dogwood trees and their brilliant bloom and flowers in Spring, like most of us, I guess.  I just can't shoot them enough.  These were in Brookside this weekend.

    Yeah, imagine going from a cold, grey and brown Winter world and then, all of a sudden, getting a bit of milder weather nd a bit of green and then brilliant blossoms like these, all at once. It's outstanding.

    And it happens once a year.
