Nelson Surprise

I was at the Nelson again, no surprise, and saw this simple, beautiful sculpture. It was part of their "30 Americans" installation. I immediately only saw a face staring back at me, at us. Upon a quick closer look, I realized what it was made of.

It was another surprising, even wonderful exhibit from the Nelson again, not a huge surprise. They keep doing such great things over there. Hope you saw it.

architecture as sculpture

The Bloch Gallery at the Nelson, of course.  I love this building.  Sure, it's best at dusk and after, when lit but during the day, it still shows very well, for sure.
