Summer lily

 

I shot this in yet another friend's yard, last week. These are common as a boot here in the area but still, they make for great color. It seems we take a lot of things for granted, don't we?

I shot this in a friend's front yard at the end of June. I dedicate this one to my sister-in-law, Myra and a great friend, Peggi, who both celebrate their birthdays today. Two fantastic people. Happy birthday to you both.

Spring on KU campus

I was on KU's campus in early May and caught this.  Flowers in general but Spring flowers, in particular, make photography easier, for sure.

I shot this a few years ago on the East side of Topeka, heading on 6th Street, toward Lawrence.
