Movie Set Type Day In Brookside, Kansas City and the Midwest
When I saw the Movie "Big", years ago, the one with Tom Hanks in it, I remember the beautiful, Autumn days they shot for the scenes. I've never forgotten them. Today is that kind of day here in Kansas City. They could have shot those scenes in Brookside.

Protecting pooch
I shot this last year in Lawrence, Kansas while walking with a friend. Massachussetts Street is such a great stretch of shops and downtown that's a terrific throwback to the way things and places used to be. This gentleman was reading his paper with what I assume was his best friend.

friends
This was from last Fall, on the Plaza. It was a warm, 70 degree day and I saw these 3 young men. I thought they looked great, so casual and relaxed. I especially loved the juxtaposition of the shorts on the left and the lined winter hat on the right.
