So many times, I'll be driving along and see things I want to shoot. However, at that point, I usually have to slow the car, turn around and go back to get it. This was just such a case. I saw these trees in bloom about 2 weeks ago, along the highway in Smithville. I knew I had to go back right then and shoot them---there were 4 of them. The light and blooms, everything, was right, right then. Or I thought so, anyway.

I like that you singled out a lone tree.
ReplyDeleteGlad you thought so. Thanks for the note. I wanted to keep it simple and clean with just the tree, the blooms, sky and grass. I saw I could and liked the result. I'll show three together soon.
ReplyDeleteWay cool. The essence of the prairie in western Missouri and eastern Kansas.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob. Naturally I apreciate any and all compliments but especially those from whom I respect for their understanding of photography, as I do yours.
