thanks very much, Regina. As I was walking the hall of the Bloch Gallery, I saw this and knew I loved it. I'd shot there at least a few times before and liked the light and angles and the whole building. when I saw all this white and grey, I thought it would make a great shot. That's one of the great things about photography, too--I virtually always keep my eye out for something colorful or different or whatever, that might make a fun and/or great shot. I'm sure you do the same now.
Do you use any photo software to edit and highlight your pictures? Just curious.
I use iPhoto, don't have Photoshop. I find I can do quite a bit with iPhoto. Have looked a Gimp also, haven't mastered it enough to publish anything, still learning.
I like the simplicity of this photo. You always have such an interesting perspective. I sure learn from you.

ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike. See http://saintlouismodailyphoto.blogspot.com/2010/05/featured-exhibitions.html
ReplyDeleteIf you like it, stick with it. Another great free one is Picasa on Google. It's pretty capable and easy to understand and use, too.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow, Bob.
ReplyDeleteAin't dat a hoot?
I hope you're right about the "great minds thinking alike." Coming from you, that's not feint praise. Thanks.
