    Love the crop. I am conflicted over whether I like this one. On the one hand the light is kind of flat. On the other hand the faint horizon with the center mass draws my eye. What do you think? Did you have a particular goal for this image?

    Funny you should say that, Dan but then, you're a photographer, too, of course, and you know what's possible.

    I studied the shot both ways--cleared of the haze and fog a bit and this way. I ended up liking this far more for two reasons. First, this is what it really did look like that day and second, I did think it added a wonderful (by my view) look to it--cold and soft and, for give me--wonderful. I loved the lack of definition for once. My end-goal was to impart somoe undefined beauty and peace, to tell you the absolute truth so there you are.
