I shot this in Raytown this past Sunday, at the end of another terrific day of weekend pool volleyball at some very good friends' home.

Old grass, new fence

I shot this in my neighborhood in Smithville at the end of March.  I saw it earlier in the season and meant to get it before this.  I was struck by the coincidence that this new fence and last season's pampas grass were the same color.  Being the beginning of Spring, there hasn't been that much color.  The rich, deep gold of it stood out in the area.
