Shot this Summer, out the window, here in Brookside. That's one busy sky. Again, click on picture for larger, better viewing.

Summer Sunset

This summer, a few weeks ago, in the city.

A Maxfield Parrish Moment

Yes sir and ma'am, a Maxfield Parrish sunset, sky and moment, at least to me, on the campus of UMKC, just outside White Recital Hall this summer. It was just after one of their July Summerfest performancs on a Saturday evening.

Westport Sunset

Shot a few weeks ago on Westport Road.

Nelson Surprise

I was at the Nelson again, no surprise, and saw this simple, beautiful sculpture. It was part of their "30 Americans" installation. I immediately only saw a face staring back at me, at us. Upon a quick closer look, I realized what it was made of.

It was another surprising, even wonderful exhibit from the Nelson again, not a huge surprise. They keep doing such great things over there. Hope you saw it.

Kemper Selfie

I was at the Kemper (Museum of Contemporary Art) this Summer and caught this.

Bagpipes and Drums

This group was at HJ Community Center on Wornall a few weeks ago, one evening. I heard the noise, the bagpipes, specifically, and went to see what was going on. They were preparing for a performance and competition the following weekend in Minneapolis. They are the St. Andrew Pipes and Drums. If you can ever catch one of their performances, it's highly recommended.

Summer Sunrise, Brookside

This is my view every morning, in the parking lot, on the way to my car for work. I got this a few weeks ago at sunrise. If you didn't see the power lines, it nearly looks as though I live in the woods.

Summerfest, B & W

From the Summerfest series in July at UMKC's White Recital Hall.

Car Show

There was a car show put on by Veterans this Summer, an annual event, at Synchrony Bank on 67th Street in Merriam, just off I-35. I volunteered to shoot it for them. This was, obviously, one of the beauties.

Dinner Sunset

I've shot the sunset coming through the windows several times, many, really, in Westport at Bistro 303. I committed to myself I wouldn't post just one more unless it was different. I think this did just that.

Sunset Welcome

This was at the HJ Community Center on Wornal, in Brookside, last week at sunset.
