cold

The weekly theme for vfxy this week is "cold." It's cold here, tonight, in Kansas City with a predicted low of 18 but it isn't as windy and cold as this, above. I had a great time last year, photographing the Country Club Plaza during our first big snow storm.

    I knew I could only do it that evening. You learn that, the more you photograph, don't you? If it's in front of you, you have to get it right then. Actually it was cold and windy but it wasn't that bad. I was out for about 2 hours. It was fantastic. The next day, the next night, it was bitter, bitter cold and I couldn't have taken it.
