I shot this just outside the city while dog- and house-sitting for friends last February. I thought the colors and balance and everything came out so well. It's tough to pick the best picture of the year if you've shot a lot, as photographers do, but I feel this was either my 2nd best or my 2nd favorite. Tomorrow, you'll see what I thought my best of the year.
