    thank you very much. I really enjoyed my time here and taking these shots. The front-facing shots of Mount Rushmore were natural, of course, but this presented itself and seemed so easy and obvious but beautiful and, I thought, unique. I hadn't seen anyone else's shot ending up like this.

    Another thing, I also swore I would never go to South Dakota and Mount Rushmore as I thought it so hokey and awful. After going on this rather short trip, which I naturally enjoyed very much because I was spending time with my daughter, I also, surprisingly, ended up enjoying the sights and light and so many things, very much. I'd love to go back and spend a great deal of time, photographing even the state. It was surprisingly beautiful and stunning.
