Autumn Sunset on the Ranch

Just North of St. Joseph last evening at a friend's home.

St. Joe, Downtown Autumn

I drove by this and loved the color and shade and shadow and light, all of it. Knew I had to have it.

One Hour North I

I am originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, one hour North of Kansas City. I was up there this weekend to visit a friend for his birthday and got a few shots. The city is a Grand Dame, I think of 100 year old architecture.

All of this series are shot either downtown or very close to it. This one is just that, near downtown. Being an old river town, it is full of rolling hills. This sits atop one of them. I understand it was split up, years ago, into apartments. I'm sure the interior is nowhere near as fantastic any longer, compared to the exterior.

If you look and think about it, it seems a very "Addams Family" style design.

pottery, Autumen

From a friend's house and yard, just outside St. Joseph, Missouri. I loved the way it turned out.
